Tresors El Mamoun

Description

A natural clay vase with a rounded bulb-shaped body, narrow upright neck and softly flared mouth. Its warm terracotta colour is left unglazed, allowing the clay surface and carved texture to remain the main feature.

The body is worked with hand-carved ridges that change direction across the curved form, with horizontal bands near the shoulder and diagonal sections lower down. That shifting pattern gives the vase a sculptural feel without relying on bright colour or glaze.

Shape and surface detail

The slim neck rises from the broad base with a gentle inward curve, creating a tall, balanced outline. Around the bulbous lower section, the carved lines catch light and shadow, making the surface look lively from different angles.

Ways to display it

Use it with dried stems, grasses or seed heads where the narrow neck can hold a small arrangement neatly. It also works well on its own on a shelf, console table or sideboard, especially in rooms with rustic, organic or neutral décor.
