Description

Deep blue bands circle the conical lid of this handmade Moroccan tagine pot, set against a warm off-white ceramic base. Fine black lines sit between some of the wider stripes, while the rounded blue knob and flared collar give the lid a neat, balanced shape.

Made for serving rather than stovetop cooking, it is a decorative ceramic tagine for presenting food at the table. The glossy finish and striped pattern make it easy to display between uses, especially on open shelving, a sideboard or as part of a Moroccan pottery collection.

Blue and white striped design

The lid has the classic tagine silhouette: low and wide at the base, tapering upwards to a small handle. Its pattern is simple but striking, with alternating blue and off-white bands following the cone shape. The shallow dish base is left mostly off-white, allowing the blue rim and lid stripes to stand out.

Serving and display use

Use it to present North African-style stews, couscous, appetisers or side dishes. It is also suitable for direct contact with hot or cold dishes thanks to its lead-free, food-safe glaze. When not in use, the compact shape makes it an attractive decorative piece for a dining table or kitchen shelf.

This tagine is intended for serving only. It should not be used in ovens or on stovetops.
